WHAT IS SOCIETY OF THE 12?
A social community serving 1,000+ Catholics and their friends across the U.S. and internationally, created for adults discerning friendships and relationships, to meet people, build meaningful community, and enjoy a social lifestyle rooted in faith.
Through intentionally curated introductions, social gatherings, dinners, sports, trips, and community events, the Society creates real-world spaces where friendship grows naturally.
WHY DOES SOCIETY OF THE 12 EXIST?
Most adults drift socially after college or graduate school. Society of the 12 exists to cultivate intentional social life for Catholics and their friends, where people meet new friends, host one another, serve together, discern relationships, and encourage one another in living their faith.
IS IT ONLY FOR SINGLES?
The Society primarily serves (what we refer to as) Catholic bachelors, bachelorettes and their friends. Our friends are dating, engaged or married, and remain involved as friends, mentors or hosts. The goal is to build durable friendships that continue through every stage of life.
IS IT ONLY FOR YOUNG ADULTS?
Society of the 12 is built for Catholics beyond young adults, with many from our community in their 30’s and 40’s, but many events are fun for those in their 20s, and others for those in their 50’s as well.
IS THIS A DATING OR MATCHMAKING SERVICE?
No. Society of the 12 prioritizes friendship first, because healthy courtship grows best in real community. When people know one another through shared life and mutual respect, romantic discernment becomes more natural and human. Relationships are welcomed, but being a good wingman or wingwoman is encouraged even more.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
First: You take our Quiz (what kind of social environment you fit in)
Second: You join the Guest List (so we can send introductions or invitations your way, when we think you should meet someone).
Third: You wait (and get weekly updates with our Newsletter).
WHAT IS EXPECTED OF GUESTS?
Society of the 12 is built on initiative, hospitality, and respect. Guests are encouraged to:
• reach out to people we introduce you to
• contribute to gatherings
• invest in building friendships
• protect the culture of faith and integrity
Strong community requires participation.
WHAT DOES COMMUNITY LIFE LOOK LIKE?

WHO LEADS THE SOCIETY?
Society of the 12 operates under founder-led stewardship with the support of Contributing Members, they serve as stewards of culture, protecting the integrity of the Society through example and guidance. As the Society grows, participants may help host social events in their cities.
