Thanks for joining! Once you’ve entered your email, usually takes less than a minute to get a Welcome message with Step 2 to your inbox (check your spam folder and make sure to mark as Safe).
While you’re there, please be sure to consider not just signing up for the matchmaking component, but opt in to help shape the movement as well by joining the Advocates Group!
The Advisors Group: the first official community of the Society of the 12, created to gather pioneers, visionaries, and early collaborators helping shape the apostolate from the ground up. This WhatsApp-based network invites individuals with creativity, leadership, and a positive spirit, those ready to take ownership in building this collective apostolate for the Church and its members. Through WhatsApp discussions and weekly Zoom meetings, Advisors will share ideas, co-create initiatives, propose candidates for the Mentors Group and Honors of the 12, and assist in the Society’s launch across dioceses. Members of the Advisors Group will serve as the Society’s first ambassadors, committed to spreading the vision, refining the systems, and helping establish local leadership teams as the movement takes root.
From among the Advisors Group, some key participants will be invited to join the 12 Mentors Group in the next couple of weeks.
The 12 Mentors Group: the mentorship and leadership circle guiding the Society of the Twelve through its formative period. This body will consist of twelve mentors, twelve co-chairs, (and Marco as program coordinator), and 2 honorary priests as advisors, for a total of twenty-seven leaders (rotated or re-elected by majority vote among them every year). Each mentor and co-chair will embody the unique charism of one of the Twelve Tribes, serving as its public representative, creative director, and voice across digital platforms. Together, the 12 Mentors Group will lead recruitment, organize the first generation of members, and communicate the mission of the Society through their own social-media communities, podcasts, and collaborations. Beyond outreach, they will help curate and review candidate compatibility for the Dinner for 12 matchmaking events and other social initiatives, ensuring every encounter reflects the spirit and standards of the Society of the Twelve.

A Catholic Misfit: this is where the idea came from, some reels that went viral, where our founder, @marcomartinezo proposed (just trying to be funny) the idea of having weekly singles masses, or dating apps that matched groups of 12 compatible Catholics with each other for dinner dates, instead of regular 1-1 swiping. After these videos went viral, Marco got stuck with following through, with what now seems like a “calling”.. but time will tell.
